Welcome…

I would like to welcome you to the Doncaster Went Valley Lions Club website where you can find out information on the work we do globally and most importantly within our local community.

Ours is a small club consisting of a group of volunteers who enjoy getting together to provide help to out our local community. You’ll find us a friendly group who meet together every 2 to 3 weeks as well as getting together for social occasions and other fun times. So if you have a few hours a month to spare and would enjoy helping to provide support to those who find themselves in need, then we would love for you to come along and join us. If you are interested then why not come along to one of our meetings and see what we are about, details of when out meetings are held can be found on the meetings page.

We look forward to hearing from you.

What we do?

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Our 1.35 million members – who perform community service in 208 countries and geographic areas – are different in many ways, but share a core belief: community is what we make it.

When you join Lions, you join a global service network. So, at the same time you’re doing local community service, you can also contribute to Lions volunteer efforts around the world.

For more information and how to get in touch with us check out the rest of our website. We carry out a range of fund raising activities within the local area and are always on the look out for new members so we can provide even more support to our local communities. If you are interested in becoming a member then why not give us a call or come along to one of our meetings.
